La Haye d’Iree was built at the crossing of ancient Roman roads linking Rennes, Jublains, Vitre and Courseul; the Romans had established a castellum (fortified camp) at the domain.
The fortress protected Britany from Normand and French invasions. The actual manor is thus at a strategic location to discover the numerous interesting touristic spots that suround it.
