We have named the house the « Chouane » in memory of a chouan priest who lived there : one can see a calice carved next to the entrance. In reality it is an old whatch house which gave its name to the small village. I twas built in the XVth century. We have kept the openings and the various levels inside which give it an amazing charm.

It is built on three levels :

  • Ground Floor : sitting room, kitchen and office. WC
  • First Floor : A very large room with tipical brittany furniture ; baldachin bed (160×200cm), fireplace. I twas a former sergeant’s room with an exit on an outside stone stareway. A second double-bed room (160×200cm) with a shower. A bathroom (shower) and separate WC
  • Second Floor : A bedroom for two with two single beds (90X200 cm) with a sink. Also a bedroom for four : two seperate beds (90X190cm) and two bunk-beds (90X190cm) – sink
